Currently conducting a POC on the platform. Like many organistions we are trying to assess the best way to get out SAP data into our data lakes for our business users.

Cons

Support for Metadata transfer into Databricks (only technical names)
Better integrations with HANA CV into Object store
Add data products to existing data products

Return on Investment

Fast way to get data out to the lake
Can unlock data discovery/insights once in Databricks
Creating Customer Managed Data Product via BWDPG, allowed business who invested in BW to leverage this.

Usability

Potential is massive, product needs time to mature and SAP needs to bring to life more ERP data products.

Again potential to be a game changer if it continues to mature.
