My personal focus mainly lies within the SAP Integration Suite and SAP Build applications within SAP Business Technology Platform, as well as associated products such as CALM and Transport Management. The business problems mainly consists of integration and automation

Cons

Cloud Foundry specifically: onboarding in orgs and spaces (eg how to get access as a subacccount admin)
As a global account admin: managing subacccounts can be improved (access)
Auditing and logging

Return on Investment

Improved cross-application connectivity with a lot more design-making enabled by and moved to the integration middle layer
Moving from an on premise castle and moat approach to a cloud-native trustless approach significantly reduces up-frontbinfrastructure costs
Access to a bigger developer pool, especially young talent, as a result of moving toward general technologies and languages

Usability

Our main use case are integration scenarios. These range from pre-packaged scenarios (CX suite of products, EDI buyer process integration) —the fastest implementation of which was set up within a day for multiple business objects—to custom scenarios with S4, SuccessFactors and third party systems (e.g. Payroll providers,...) —the most complex integration (time sheet data) took multiple months and hundreds of lines of code to develop.
