Company wide ERP for financial data source of truth and general ledger
Pros
- SSO login
- MDG update email links
- Requesting access is simple
Cons
- Analysis for office is incredibly slow and should be replaced with a new app
- The site sometimes is slow or lags during month end
- There are too many tiles, the deprecated or irrelevant ones should be removed
- Uploading journals via a script
I have not seen or used any of the use cases
Oracle was at my previous company and SAP Business Technology Platform is at my current company. Both suites are a little difficult to use and have a large learning curve for accounting folks. Both need another app to read GL data and to upload journals. Oracle gave the ability to get links to POs via email for approval, which was nice.
