SAP Extended Warehouse Management we use as decentralized SAP Extended Warehouse Management, after implementation of SAP S/4 Hana we are planning to use the embedded SAP Extended Warehouse Management in our company

  • Warehouse monitor reports can be much user friendly
  • Error handling through inbound and outbound queues
  • Integration with S4 for the inbound deliveries and reversal
  • MFS setup is complex
  • Handling big Warehouse through EWM is good
  • Integration with other functionalities is good
  • It can be more user friendly and very complex to do development
  • Warehouse automation can be much better
Its good to use the SAP Extended Warehouse Management especially like large warehouse in our company and we use many tools along with SAP S4 where SAP Extended Warehouse Management helps to implement various business processes in our company, which helps to monitor the products flow very well. Hence I would recommend any big company to for SAP Extended Warehouse Management

SAP Extended Warehouse Management is very complex to configure since it has various functionalities compared to normal warehouse management in SAP S/4 but its good for the large customers who can utilize the functionality along with various modules integration and also with core SAP S4
