Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We use it for Accounting, Purchase to Pay, Asset Management and Cost Control. So far we find it hard to integrate with other companies we’ve been acquiring with other SAP versions, we expect to continue growing through acquisitions and integrating new companies perhaps in other jurisdictions is challenging and time consuming. For cases of not SAP companies acquired it is even more challenging, we would love some simplified and easy way to read data from other ERP or accounting systems and convert and integrate to our SAP environment.

Pros

  • Integration of data along the different modules we use.
  • Data mining is very straight forward.
  • Robust IT General Controls.

Cons

  • Flexibility on companies creation along with all needed tables.
  • Significant impact, we’re faster, more efficient and reliable.
  • Our maintenance process is way more accurate and cost time efficient through a detailed materials inventory management.
We’re now connected, now looking for escalation especially through Fiori. In addition we have not experience downtimes related to SAP other than the ones we schedule for maintenance.

From our experience SAP S/4HANA Cloud works for all sort of companies disregarding size. We were a smaller company when we decided to migrate and we just had to properly scope what we wanted based on size, industry and the critical processes to tackle fist. Our migration experience was fantastic, it lasted 6 months and we’re now escalating to cover more processes along with our grow as a company.
