Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud in our organisation with starting point as the finance module which involves giving access not just to the finance team, but also to all the other functions which use financial parameters to some extent (limited users). This tool helped us integrate all the finance related stuff into one single piece and to share real-time information with all the users effectively and efficiently.

Cons

  • I think pricing is quite high
  • In my experience, user interface is hard to grab on
  • This tool has brought in efficiency in the business ops
  • Seamless sharing of information real-time
Although the use cases are pretty good and useful, in my opinion, using the tool requires a lot of training and efforts. I think it is complicated for anyone who's not from finance background - which is where we faced the maximum pushbacks during initial implementation.

Its cloud solution with access to various use based on their need was the most important factor.
The scalability of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and its goodwill and reputation were the important deciding factors. Other solutions are at a nascent stage currently, but might get there in some time.

I think it is best suited if there are multiple users of the database under different functions. In my opinion, its integration capabilities are amazing and efficient. I think It is not very well suited with smaller organisations where dataflow is more informal.
