SAP 4/HANA Review - A user friendly, fin-tastic tool

Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP 4HANA is a fantastic tool, it helps us to work with multiple tools and applications. Its a prefect tool to handle supply chain functions in a better way. We could also use it effectively when we are working for multple entities or locations. We don't need to struggle to match and report or get the required data as and when we need.

Pros

  • Readymade windows available, so no need to remember the Transaction Codes, unlike earlier versions
  • Realtime data syncronization, so no need to wait for the data to reflect in the reports, which is really time effective.
  • We get to know each every details in audit trail, if anything is wrong, we can easily identify which user has done it and when, even to the extent of the field name
  • Data keeps getting synced on time and since it would get saved on a cloud platform, even in case of hard disk gets crashed or some other technical issues, data will remain safe and accessible for all
  • Very user friendly and we don't need much of a spoon feeding sort of training to explore all the options

Cons

  • The most effective feature of the main screen, where we get all the icons for each screen such as Vendor History, View Document etc., if we can have a tab where we can see graphical presentation of the data, it would be great
  • If its more flexible it would be great. Sometimes we have faced challenges, when we try to integrate it with other applications, which may not be upto the mark of SAP, but still are needed by clients.
  • Frequent changes can be avoided. We can always improvise, but if we keep moving the options from one place to other or keep changing them, the user gets frustrated and suddenly they start feeling its completely a new tool and not user friendly.
  • The fantastic way of recording and availability of data definitely helps the business objectives
  • The accurcay and effective way it works makes us to rely on the outcome completely
  • Initially even though it seems bit expensive, in the long run it really proves to be an investment for a larger goal
The usage of the SAP 4HANA is very user friendly. Which produces accurate & timely results. Since it helps in getting all the required reoprts on time, we can rely on it completely than having a team for each of them. Only a single team who knows accounting well and a basic knowedge of SAP, can handle it very easily.

Ease of use i guess is the most important factor here. Considering the market, where people have many opportunities, movement, growth we need not have to keep training new team again and again. Basic training and showing them the path on how toexploire the tool helps them naturally. We dont have to spoon feed for each type of screen and navigation as it si simepl and user friendly.

Well Suited:
Whenever we are dealing with multiple entities it is very good.
Since it is user friendly, we dont need much of a training.
Real time data updation is a major plus point
Less Appropriate:
I dont see anything as less appropriate, but there is always a scope for improvement
We need to stop doing too many changes very frequently, which would irate the end users
We can have graphical representation of the data.
