Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

In our department we use various security products S/4HANA like System Recommendation, Configuration Validation, CVA, SAP ETD, etc.

Pros

  • Integration of existing Security products
  • Cooperation with SAP in private cloud
  • integration with ECC systems

Cons

  • Solution Manager functionalities are not mature enough (Cloud ALM) yet
  • HANA database costs are very high
  • patching of OS is easier in alignment with SAP
We still have to manage a lot on customer side, although some topics are a lot easier with RISE with SAP and the private cloud

Yes

For large companies SAP S/4 HANA (private) cloud will be the way to go in the future. However, the cost factor (HANA database!) needs to be considered very carefully
