Overall Satisfaction with SAP Cloud ERP

We use it for demonstrating it to our prospects and customers. It has the best practices incorporated for key LOBs and also available for multiple countries. It addresses the problems of long build cycles of on-prem systems and also keeping system updated is a pain, With a 6 month release cycles with improvements and also the simple steps to activate any new process, it has become easier for us to improve our overall demo capabilities and readiness and also shrink the sales/pre-sales cycles

Pros

  • The inbuilt collaboration with the SAP Help
  • Standard processes ready for adoption
  • Feasibility to build to extensions and keep core clean
  • Workflow

Cons

  • In some areas in the Logistics like - Bar code reading
  • Some features missing when compared to On-Prem/Private cloud to be incorporated
  • Inability to do a mass upload of pure Finance AP invoices. We had to build an extension for a customer
  • Better visibility in SAP eco system and channels
  • Helped close some business with SAP Cloud service offerings
  • Ease of building skills and competency on Cloud
Very easy for users to navigate around the application with insights and intuitive UI. The context sensitive help and the collaboration helps a lot
