Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
We use SAP to replace our legacy systems for all our back end to customer facing processes - Finance, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Sales order etc. Our problem was we have 85 stores who have used our legacy systems quite inconsistently creating scattered data, lack of business/ commercial insights and no way to consolidate our cooperative business.
Pros
- Consistency of operational processes
- Allows for the centralisation of core services
- Cross functional and cross store transparency of accounts and data
Cons
- Not sure if it is an SAP problem, I do think we have customised quite a bit of the out of the box solution. That brings along with a host of challenges from E2E process mapping, solution design to making people readiness a complex journey
- Sales Order is the clunkiest process for us and is not landing well in the retail area.
- Still in flow. We havent realised the values yet.
