Overall Satisfaction with Sitecore Web Content Management

We use Sitecore to build and edit our corporate website. We only use sitecore currently with marketing and IT users.
  • Very robust tool.
  • Allows advances users to set up templates that less technical users can use to build pages.
  • Easy approval process.
  • Tool can crash unexpectedly and all unsaved work is lost
  • Not user friendly for non-tech users
  • Increased Efficiency - Many users can be working in the tool at one time
  • Increased Organization of assets
Sitecore was the first web content manager that I have used in my professional career.
We have been very pleased with Sitecore so far and just rebuilt our website using it. I see no doubt that we will renew with Sitecore when our contract is due.
Sitcore Web Content Management is a very powerful system but unless you have the right IT team to help set it up correctly it can be a waste. I don't think this is best suited for small organizations.
