Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM)

SolarWinds NCM is a great addition to the tool bag. Having the ability to scan configurations and make changes on the fly across multiple devices is an immense time saver. Another great future is version caching [which] allows you to see all the changes that have been made and revert if necessary.

  • Too many clicks to get to certain features

  • Quick Changes allow for more changes in the same time period
  • Allows us to know what changes have been made and when and by who
  • More uptime due to uniform configs across our devices

It is very easy to apply changes to several units at once. NCM definitely exceeds in this area. Sometimes it can be a bit tough to use when you are doing some of the more granular changes that are specific to an individual device. But it is a dream for some of the more broad changes.
