We use Spotfire to present data (reporting) to our internal customers. The tool allows our internal customers to filter their data for better analysis and presentation.

Pros

  • Better visualization on the data that we want to show to our customers.
  • Better filtering on data.
  • Better analysis can be done by our customers.

Cons

  • Expensive license.
  • Performance issues on the large datasets.
  • Users look for more customization.
  • Not easy to find the developers from market.
  • Spotfire is user-friendly, and my internal customers are happy to do their analysis using the data visualization shown to them.
  • Performance on the dataset needs to improve.
