Overall Satisfaction with StarWind HyperConverged Appliance (HCA)

We use StarWind HCAs as primary servers for operations. They have been used to carry the load of some of our more critical systems and have been amazing hardware. The failover clustering has performed flawlessly in testing and in production, I trust it wholeheartedly.

Alerts from the monitoring service are instant and support is always on standby to help with an issue. Even during planned outages at 4 AM, they are available and helpful should the need arise.
No unscheduled downtime over the last 5-year period. One minor issue with cluster replication was seen and quickly resolved.
Not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison, as one is used as a general NAS type array, but we have had multiple drives out in our EMC product over the same course of life as the StawWind HCAs, which have had zero failures.

The HCA has been robust and carries mission-critical servers flawlessly. It has performed well with both Oracle and SQL instances and we have never had an issue with them.
