Overall Satisfaction with Survey Anyplace
I am a graduate student using Survey Anyplace as my data collection tool for my thesis project. It allows me to collect data remotely. Others in my department also use Survey Anyplace.
- This application allows me to build intuitive and dynamic surveys. It also automatically provides accessible graphs of the data, making it easy to view and interpret descriptive statistics.
- My favorite part of this product has got to be the user-friendly interface. It is easy to alter existing surveys, create new surveys, check for new responses and download the responses. Pretty much everything has a time stamp, allowing me to monitor the progress of data collection at each time point.
- When creating new items in a survey, switching items around in the order you want is a bit clunky. From my experience, you must create a new item, then use a drop down menu on that item to choose what item to put it behind.
- If you want to group items on a certain page you must make all of the categories beforehand. I have not found a way to move the categories in a different order than the one you create them. At the very least, if there is a way to do so it would be nice if it were more obvious.
- Survey Anyplace has made it very easy to obtain and export data, ensuring progress toward the completion of academic research projects in the department.
