Overall Satisfaction with Teradata Vantage

We use Teradata Vantage to connect from different sources, to analyze data and create business models. Therefore, it is an important contributor to our analytical modeling process. To generate consistent information for our users we have different stages before putting our models in production and ready to be use: development, testing and production.

I rate Teradata Vantage as a business intelligence analyst. Although I think Teradata Vantage studio could be improved, in the overall, Teradata Vantage perform as expected in the development of our business models. It allows the BI team to analyze big amount of data, develop models and test them.

Teradata Vantage is a tool best for analysis of data to model business cases according. I would say it is less appropriate for final users. You would need a friendlier front. In our case, for instance, we use Strategy.
