Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Jaspersoft

  • Was very strong in customize the reports based on customer need.
  • Verity of viz templates.
  • Sophisticated layout to build custom formulas and report layouts.
  • Performance. We tested JS in our lab and it failed to quickly respond while handling big data sets.
  • Internal memory management and garbage collection.
  • Inbuild analytics functions.

The main reason for selecting JS is because of its open source tendency and easy to customize / merge to the core product.

Suitable: in-build with any Java products as reporting tool. Jasper reports are very effective in this case. Stand alone as a corporate reporting tool.

Less suitable: in the area of analytics reporting. Real time or near real time analytics solutions, end user driven reporting.
