Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Spotfire

I use Spotfire as consulting tool for my customers. My customers want to quickly detect their problems and know the root cause. I am very sure Spotfire can meet their demands for these very fast and very efficiently.

Pros

  • Fast problem detection.
  • Visualize problems efficiently.
  • Showing patterns

Cons

  • More color recommendations.
  • Table line thickness control.
  • Automatic font change after display size change.
  • Usually, Spotfire can meet ROI in 3 months ~ to 12 Months.
  • Many customers said Spotfire is efficient 10~ 50 times versus MS Excel.

In the case of survey analysis, I used Spotfire for multi-dimensional analysis. My customer usually received just one-dimensional answers from the analyzer. But I analyzed/showed each question from a multi-dimensional point of view for each question. So customers could understand each question more deeply and quickly for customers' thinking.
