Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization generates a lot of internal memos and notices. Also, a lot of Government related paperwork is backed up to S3 by Veeam. It increases the availability and reliability of the data. Access becomes easier.

Fast and reliable backups.
Object immutability feature.
Backup chains.

Pricing: it is little costly.
Interface could be made less confusing for beginners.

Eased up a lot of workflows in organization.

Increased overall IT spendings.

Reliability and Availability

Recoveries have always been very fast and efficient. Increased availability due to Veeam has helped us reduce the time taken by a few workflows in the organization.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's best for EC2 instance backups and for backing up on-prem data on S3. I haven't encountered any scenario during my job that might be less appropriate for Veeam back-up.
