Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We backup our VMware environment to on-prem storage and Veeam replicates those jobs to the cloud. If our on-prem environment is inaccesible, we can turn up cloud versions from backups already online.

Reliability and Availability

In testing, we've been able to restore a backup in a few clicks choosing different accounts and regions on the fly; no hiccups.

Veeam works well for our small to mid-sized environment. Backups and replication are quick, and it's easy to spin up a cloud VM from backup with minimal interaction. It would be nice to have some kind of templating for restoring to cloud though to minimize that process further.
