Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite

I do not feel it's user friendly
I used it just as a file backup application. It did not solve any problems, and instead created more.

Pros

  • None

Cons

  • The whole GUI interface needs a revamp. The reporting is terrible.
  • Push installation/adding clients to backup does not seem to effectively work.
  • I believe that there can be a lot of improvements done and they can base it out of existing backup softwares.
  • Vembu is not serving my purposes, but since investment was small I can easily jump back to another backup software
As per my personal experience, Vembu is effective only when the file server you're backing up is less than 500GB-- over this size, it tends to fail.
