Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite

Very simple to use, just does the job I need it to
Currently used to backup all file servers on site to a NAS as an additional backup measure. Runs automatically on schedules and notifies via email job completion and errors where applicable. All managed from a simple to use web interface. Only management required is deletion of old backups. System currently running on a Windows 10 desktop PC

Pros

  • Backup schedules
  • Easy web interface
  • Reliable

Cons

  • Historical backups not deleted automatically. Could be due to my version
  • Using free version so very good
Used free version as a secondary backup. Looking to purchase full version
Not currently used to backup any of these
Veeam was considered
[Vembu BDR Suite is] good for file backups, and looks good for VM backups although not using this feature
