Vertex Indirect Tax O Series
Overall Satisfaction with Vertex
Sales and use tax calculations for one or our ERPs. We are able to control and change our TDM within our tax department without any IT help.
Pros
- Comprehensive configuration capabilities.
- A large amount of data available for data extract.
- Logging available to the user.
Cons
- We are currently using 7.0 and it can be a bit slow when it comes to navigation through the app. Been told 9.0 is much quicker and smoother.
- Can improve on the speed of tax calculations. Compared to the L series, it is slower.
- Reduced our tax audit exposure. We are collecting more precise taxes.

We have had a long standing relationship with Vertex and they are very respected in the tax industry.
- Third party billing system were able to call Vertex On-Demand for tax calculation.
Implementation of Vertex on the premise for our e-commerce group. I was able to bridge the gap between our Tax department and our IT department.
