Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Private Access

The software is solid, and we are seeing security features that other applications do not provide. The learning curve for us has been adapting from policy-based firewall access to application-based connections. The team has grown on it, but continues to work on doing a solid deployment. We have one-offs that require additional resources to function properly, such as Cisco voice applications.

The environment feels more secure, and we are seeing that users are adapting to it fast. The fact that we have tools to assist the users with their day-to-day access helps, as we can hand it off to the helpdesk without any escalations to the Network team. It is a work in progress for our agency, but we are seeing the benefits from the solution.
We had a nightmare experience with Prisma Access. The tool was not the most intuitive, and their peripherals to make it more secure were not efficient. Their integration with other tools to provide MFA was mediocre at best. That is the main reason we decided to explore Zscaler as a SaaS solution for the agency.

Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls - PA Series, Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco 5500 Series Network Convergence System (NCS 5500)
The tool is, for the most part, very intuitive. Most of our issues so far (working through them with our Resident Engineer) are the one-off applications. We are working on some exemptions to make them functional. Besides that, the team loves the tool and how it can provide better security than our previous tool.
