Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Private Access

We use Zscaler Private Access for remote access. One of the main problem is precious tool was instability, it broken down quite often. The User Interface wasn't too intuitive and needed a bit of time to get used to. Our primary use case is to allow users work remotely. Zscaler Private Access solved all the problems listed above.

  • Fast authentication saves user time
  • Since Zscaler Private Access only works with url, we ended up generating FQDN for all our servers
Few things stand out. The ease of access: It very convenient - one click to open add details and done.
Packet capture: Can't talk enough about this feature. Troubleshooting private access is always problematic,but this feature helped a lot.
One thing that can be improved is early warning about expiring authentication
Ivanti had its moment. However moving to Zscaler Private Access was the best decision for us. Zscaler Private Access is faster, smoother UI and has heaps of feature that, in my opinion, makes it tower over Ivanti. The authenticate early option, ensures we don't loose connection and by extension our SSH connections. Packet capture help narrow down the problem just like we do in networking.

Zscaler Private Access is really great improvement over other private access tools. One of the scenarios where it excels is troubleshooting. In initial days we had issues accessing certain hosts and the in built packet capture came in very handy. All we had to do was start the capture do our test and it would save the file which can then be downloaded and opened on PC.
