Ascension-Q
AscensionQ (Ascension-Q Ltd) is a UK-based clinical research technology company founded by practising clinical trial doctors who set up and ran a first-in-human Phase 1 research unit. The platform was created by researchers, for researchers — built around the day-to-day realities of running regulated clinical trials.
AscensionQ provides a connected clinical operations platform for research sites, site networks, CROs, sponsors, and academic institutions, spanning:
- Electronic Investigator Site File (eISF) and electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) management
- Electronic Pharmacy Site File (ePSF)
- Quality Management System (QMS) with CAPA workflows
- Clinical Trial Management (CTMS) and milestone tracking
Rather than a collection of standalone tools, the modules share a single data model, so documents, quality events, and trial milestones stay connected across a study's lifecycle — from a single-site academic study to multi-site, hub-and-spoke networks and sponsor- or CRO-managed portfolios.
Sponsors and CROs use AscensionQ for remote oversight of their studies, with role-based access ensuring each party — site, sponsor, or CRO — sees the studies and documents relevant to them. This gives sites a single working environment while giving sponsors and CROs real-time visibility of site file completeness and study progress.
The platform is designed for the UK regulatory environment, supporting inspection readiness under MHRA GCP requirements, ICH E6(R3), and 21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11 expectations for electronic records and signatures. Each release goes through documented, risk-based computer system validation.
