Small Improvements

Small Improvements provides a flexible performance management toolkit that helps employees grow and succeed. Our software supports HR-driven feedback processes and provides tools that employees can use to give feedback to each other throughout the year. By receiving more frequent feedback from managers and colleagues, team members know where they stand and what they need to do to succeed in their roles.

We were founded in 2011, back when ideas of ditching “traditional” performance review processes were not nearly as popular. Our founder, Per Fragemann, came from Atlassian, a company that was already challenging the status quo of performance management. Using his savings, Per began building a prototype.

Nine years on, hundreds of small and medium-sized companies like Zapier, Duolingo, Soundcloud, GetYourGuide, and Strava use our tool around the world to support their feedback cultures. We remain fully self-funded by revenue from our customers and look primarily to their feedback for improving the product.
