Wooclap
Wooclap was born from a simple conviction: people learn and retain more when they actively take part, not when they passively watch.
Whether in a lecture hall, a corporate training room, or a conference, real engagement is what turns information into understanding.
This belief led engineers Jonathan Alzetta and Sebastien Lebbe to found Wooclap in 2015. Their idea: the smartphone, often seen as a distraction, could instead become the tool that lets everyone interact with their teacher, trainer, or speaker. Built alongside neuroscientists and learning-engineering experts, Wooclap was designed to engage every participant and let presenters measure comprehension in real time, whether in person, remote, synchronous, or asynchronous.
In practice, Wooclap turns any smartphone or computer into an interactive engagement tool through 20+ question types (quizzes, polls, word clouds, open questions, and more). There's no app to download: participants join with a QR code, a link, or a short code.
Wooclap integrates directly with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Microsoft Teams, and major LMS platforms, fitting naturally into existing workflows.
Today, more than 3 million teachers and trainers at leading institutions and companies (including HEC Paris, Duke University, Total, and Pernod Ricard) rely on Wooclap to make their classes, training sessions, and presentations more interactive and impactful.
