(1-25 of 56)Cloudability you r window into you global cloud spend
- Provide clearly defined dashboards for Cloud spend
- Provide detailed spend reports for executive levels
- Fully Customizable dashboard based on customer need
- Cloud recommendations provide three scenarios, This can be confusing to novice users
- Easier movement between environments that a user has been given approval to see
- Widgets can get tricky for novice and beginner users
Also great that you can go year over year
I would like to see an ability to generate that includes year over year.
Cloud optimization recommendations seem more like suggestions and not whats always best for the application

Cost Effective Tool!!
- We use Cloudability to generate monthly cost reports for each business unit. These reports show the business unit's total cloud spend, as well as a breakdown of costs by cloud provider, service, and project.
- We use Cloudability to rightsize our instances. Cloudability can help us to identify instances that are overprovisioned or underprovisioned. We can then resize these instances to optimize our costs.
- Cloudability currently supports a wide range of cloud providers and services, but it does not support all of the services offered by Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Solid Product, Market Leader
- Clear view of resources associated with products
- Overall view of resource costs by type
- Reporting is clunky
- Filtering is limited and not pervasive between various Apptio tools
- Limited number of fields that can be brought in
Almost glowing

Apptio Cloudability for AKS and Tenents
- Show usage for each product team as we tag them in our system
- show where each resource can be optimized
- provide widgets for individual users to filter and sort their data and create their own dashboard
- Reports need to be readable across devices (mobile and desktop)
- Kubernetes breakdown on rightsizing at the namespace level (namespace = application for our aks tenant teams)
- Action integrated or automated (down to the namespace level for aks containers)

Apptio Cloudability Review
- rightsizing
- reporting
- ease of use
Apptio Cloudability does a great job of managing vast amounts of data to drive action.
- It can easily synthesize massive amounts of data into digestible formats
- The api integrations allow for unique customizations including integration with our CMDB.
- There is currently no ability to apply global filters over the data in cloudability. Rather users must go through a difficult process to create custom views which they are later able to apply over top of their datasets.
- Drill functionality does not really exists but appears to be more of an after though add-on. Yes you are able to "drill" but the visuals disappear and even the ability to export the more detailed information.
Save money and eliminate surprises!
- Visualizes the trends.
- Notifications via email to keep us aware of activities.
- Helps us forecast better.
- The modeling is a bit difficult to navigate as a new user in my opinion.
Apptio Cloudability for the win

Good clarity from Cloudability for Cloud
- Easy to use UI
- Customisation based on business dimension
- Good reporting capacity that can be scheduled
- TrueCost Explorer and RIghtsizing Explorer provides great overview
- Anamolly detection will be more useful if it can leverage business dimensions
- ASG recommendation are generally too aggressive, will be good to give option to choose the performance metric teams are willing to change and display the chosen metric
- Chart visualisation can be improved, for example, using a consistent colour for a Product or Service Name, and have value labels to differentiate value for different section of the chart
