What is MASV?
MASV Inc. specializes in the fast and secure transfer of large files, making it a solution for media workflows. It is capable of accelerating hundreds of gigabytes at once, entirely over the web, without the need for file compression or splitting. It supports media professionals who often work remotely and need to share high-resolution assets and copyrighted content with each other on a deadline. In addition to file transfer, MASV Inc. provides a number of other tools to make workflows more efficient, including file collection portals, cloud storage, automation tools, and integrations with third-party storage providers.
MASV Inc. offers features to help media professionals improve their file delivery. It has a single file limit of 15 TB with no limit on how many files or folders can be transferred at a time. Files travel across a private network of AWS servers for better speed and efficiency. All transfers are logged and tracked through a Transfer History tab. Users can create a free MASV Portal to request uploads from external parties, and modify the upload form fields to capture custom information. Portals can also be connected to any cloud storage to automatically upload file deliveries to third-party storage. MASV Inc. also has a Desktop application for increased speed and reliability, with exclusive features such as upload and download automations, channel bonding, pause and resume functionality, and the ability to support 10Gbps network speeds.
