Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We use Adobe Acrobat every day to read, edit and send pdfs. In my department, we export from InDesign into PDFs to send docs to others in the organization to be proofed/edited and then we use those finalized documents to send pdfs to clients and others outside of the organization. The program allows you to easily edit and rearrange PDF files. There's also a great option to leave comments, tagging the person whose feedback you are looking to get. I highly recommend this product.

- Sometimes the different versions get mixed up on the computer so when I'm trying to use the big, powerful version my doc opens in the reader which doesn't have the same functionality.
- Sometimes I can't find the bookmarks bar and have to search for it... it'd be nice if you could customize the toolbars so that was always visible... oh my goodness --- i just went looking for it and figured out how to customize the toolbar!!! Cool!

We are already Adobe users (InDesign, Photoshop, etc) so it was a natural decision. It's so simple to use that even our less computer-inclined people can handle it! Also, pretty much everyone in college uses it one way or the other so it's easy for new hires to handle and we can grow the usage as we need to!
- Adobe Acrobat improves our efficiency because we can so easily mark-up a document and send it along, back to the person who needs to make those changes.
- The search function saves so much time! Imagine trying to read through a 40 page document looking for a tiny detail... Instead, you can scan that doc into your computer and open it with Adobe Acrobat, then make it readable so you can use the search function and a keyword that you are looking for. Even if it is a common word in the doc, searching through those instances is much faster than reading the whole thing!
- I appreciate the security that Adobe Acrobat provides for two reasons: 1) I can finalize a word doc by putting it into a pdf so that the receiver can't make changes. 2) I also use the signature function pretty often. It digitally time stamps the doc so it is provable that it was signed on a certain date.

As far as Adobe Acrobat's security and compliance: the cyber scamming is a scary thing for a company to face. It's nice to be able to trust these documents on this program.
I prefer Adobe Acrobat to Bluebeam because it has the functionality that I need and because I use so many other Adobe products, it's an easy transition for me. Bluebeam is much more cumbersome and really just has more construction-focused functionality that I don't need on a regular basis. Plus, so many others use Adobe Acrobat, so it's easy to help walk through others what they need to do.
