Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We use Litmus to ensure that our emails render properly across all mailbox providers, mobile and tablet devices, and desktop screens. With that, we are able to easily edit the HTML if the email needs an edit or two. Additionally, it is very helpful to see how subject lines and preheader texts render on each mobile device and app. It's so helpful to be able to see all views in one spot.
- View, edit, and assure HTML is rendering properly.
- Test subject lines and preheader texts.
- An abundance of online resources.
- The online navigation is not as straightforward as I'd personally like. Even though I've used Litmus to test subject lines and preheader texts, I often times forget how to navigate to that part of the website. I.e., It's not straightforward.
- Because of Litmus, we were able to save ~5-7 hours per week per person on time coding and editing emails.
- We actually use Everest for deliverability monitoring, but from poking around Litmus, it looks like there are some beneficial deliverability features that would help improve email pre-send.
- N/A
No, unfortunately not. This feature was not in our budget.
To be honest, we don't use Litmus to assist in email engagement.
We use Litmus Proof to help with testing, reviewing, and approving emails, but we do not use it in part of our typical workflow. Since our HTML code renders properly across all devices, we use that shell and modules to build future emails. We test the HTML periodically to ensure no code has altered, but we typically do not test all emails.
We currently use both Everest and Litmus. In my opinion, the way our team uses Litmus would rank in second place compared to Everest. Everest not only reports on deliverability, feedback loops, spam traps, block listings, domain and IP reputation, and so much more, but it also shows inboxing trends for our brands and competitors, AND it has (almost) the same pre-send rendering checks as Litmus (i.e. rendering HTML across mailbox providers, mobile and tablet devices, and desktops).
