Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is being used by marketing for our nurturing efforts.
- Marketo allows us to do drip campaigns to nurture contacts by specific campaigns until they are ready for sales involvement.
- Marketo provides feedback to sales on which emails are opened by their customers so they can contact them when our company is top-of-mind.
- Reporting provides sales with targets they need to focus on based on perceived interest in our communication.
- It would be helpful if we could assign tasks to specific reps in cases where they are not listed as account owners.
- We've struggled a bit with Revenue Cycle Analytics because we do not use primary contacts on Opportunities as recommended.
- In order to have sent emails attached to contact records in Salesforce in the completed activities related list, Marketo needs to create an individual email template for each email sent. This created a huge issue for us because the email templates build up quickly and we got to the point where our email templates became unmanageable and all our email template searches would time out. This can be turned off in the settings area and the emails can be accessed through Sales Insight but we learned that after we already had a problem.
- Allows contacts to be 'cookied' so we can track their activity when we send them an email.
- Allows campaign and nurture emails to be created easily and efficiently scheduled.
