Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is being used at our organization as the main marketing automation platform. It is the system that connects our marketing systems with our sales system to ensure leads and data flow are efficient and flowing properly. It is used company-wide and is crucial to our department. We use it for email marketing, lead management, web analytics, and database purposes.
- Lead management: all of our marketing leads flow through Marketo.
- Email Marketing: we're using Marketo as our main ESP.
- Lead nurture: setting up nurture journeys.
- Faster integration to CRM system: there is often lag time and issues with the integration.
- New UI: the UI we currently have looks outdated.
- Smartlist and flows: the cascade of Marketo programs seems unintuitive.
- Product Launches
- Upsell
- Cross-Sell
- Customer Service
- Lead Management
- Prospecting / New Business
Marketo is helping us achieve a variety of goals across our company. Product launches, upsell, and cross-sell works well with the email marketing functions of Marketo to send emails to our prospects and customers. Lead management helps our team streamline leads and direct them to the right sales territories in Salesforce.
Marketo stacks up well against the other vendors in the marketing automation space. It is definitely in the top 3. All the marketing automation vendors have features and functions that will fit what you are looking for. For big enterprise business, I've seen more companies go with Eloqua. For smaller companies, Pardot and HubSpot seem like good choices.
