Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro with cross functional project teams to capture shared assets and individual inputs from different team members.
  • Simple controls that are easy to get started with
  • Infinite canvas
  • Use of frames
  • Ability to show/hide content
  • Restricting the ability for participants to unintentionally manipulate parts of the board that are meant to be static
  • Integration with PowerPoint
  • Layers within frames
  • Miro has had a positive impact in encouraging collaboration amongst hybrid users
  • Miro has helped with information sharing of project work across broader audiences
  • Miro is challenging for senior leadership to follow along with, requiring creating similar assets in PowerPoint
Highlight how the tool can be used and in what settings + best practices when using it.
Does not perform well when embedded in Teams.
Allows for more async contributions from team members in different timezones.
Miro is a slightly better tool but quite similar to Mural. Miro was our final selection due to the breadth of use cases we hoped to cover.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is a great tool for Design Sprints with virtual team members, scoping new projects, Brainstorm exercises, getting feedback on prototypes and independent process mapping. Miro is not as well suited for real-time process flow creation due to how the table feature reacts to objects when placed within a cell.
