Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

We are using quickbase to build a database for all of our students and faculty. The database will capture general student data, student appointment information, as well as also us to create student appointment packages. Additionally, it will allow us to collect account information for our faculty so we can track how funding and funding sources relates to student appointments. It will be used by the department, and partner labs/department to upload student data.
  • The interface is easy to use. Edits can be made easily, with little to no guidance.
  • It is easy to upload data or sync data via Google Drive and Dropbox.
  • The quickbase team is very responsive and helpful, which helps meet our deadlines.
  • It would be nice to have more features to change color schemes and data layouts.
Yes! The database we are building will increase our productivity and create a workflow, that has less human error, for collecting student information. There is a lot of flexibility with quickbase, so there is a lot one can do further down the line, such as connecting your database to your institution's data warehouse.
I am a non technical "citizen developer" and have found quickbase to be easy to use. We did need assistance with writing scripts and building relationships with tables. The more complex features of our database required the use of a quickbase developer.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We have yet to update a quickbase developed application since we are creating one now.
QuickBase is well suited for tracking data and financials.
