Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike for project management. As a real estate team, we have to track each new listing and it's progress so far. There are deadlines for certain tasks and Wrike helps us automate/streamline this. Even more, once we integrated Wrike with Zapier and Jotform, we were able to really automate mundane tasks associated with obtaining new listings. Instead of wasting time entering in tasks or filling out/creating Wrike tasks, zapier automatically creates and fills them in based on the Jotform inputs. Additionally, we set up recurring tasks for things such as blog posts, social media posts, and monthly or yearly tasks. The entire team can collaborate and see where we are in the process instead of having to write a coworker asking for an update.
- Tasks are extremely well organized and easy to edit/move to different folders
- It integrates very well with automation apps such as Zapier and Jotform
- It allows for very easy checklist building which is essential for project management
- It's MacOS compatibility is definitely lacking. I have had to uninstall/reinstall multiple times after getting a message saying the application has been corrupted and will be deleted.
- Sometimes I will mark tasks as completed and then when I go back, it's like it never registered. Not sure if it's a cloud, internet/connectivity issue, or what
- It lags sometimes. Seems to be pulling a lot of RAM or something and runs very slow. Can be frustrating during a time crunch.
- We're not using it for anything other than organizational purposes so there really isn't a ROI. Our ROI is our peace of mind that nothing has fallen through the cracks (which is extremely important in real estate and cost you your license if not taken seriously)
Wrike is far more advanced. Trello seems to be more of an inexperienced, end-user application. It seems better for individuals or freelancers rather than an established team. We really need a good collaboration tool that also organizes project timelines. Wrike meets those needs. The integrations with Zapier and Jotform are what solidified it for us. I personally prefer applications that integrate and allow for automation.
