Akkadu vs. Lokalise

Akkadu is very well suited for global meetings, where participants speak different languages. Or with participants who speak the same language but with a strong accent that it is difficult to understand.

We used the service for almost 2 years, initially the decision was very tight when comparing to similar providers. There are many services that can do similar functions to what Lokalise to, given the many providers existing, if I were to choose again I'd be looking for lower price and better cancellation policies, versus aggressive sales tactics that result in loss of trust for a couple bucks.

• Very easy-to-use

• optimizing translation processes
• offering a good experience for translators, managers and developers
• great communication options between translators and task owners

• It'd be great if it has AI Speech so we don't need to read the live captions. Customer service said the AI Speech feature will be released next month.

• Refund policy is unfortunately non existent, charging 11 months extra than use
• Integration got broken and cascaded the failure to the deployment pipeline
• Interface can be confusing and slow at times

Akkadu.ai is more accurate. The fact in the Akkadu app you can pick accents such as English (India) or English (Australia) improves the accuracy of the AI. Also the fact you can add terminologies from your industry in advance, makes the AI more accurate as well. Akkadu is very easy-to-use Customer service speaks fluent English and Spanish

Lokalise is definitely one of the best tools on the market
