Zillow, headquartered in Seattle, offers a multiple listing service (MLS) site via Zillow.com, supporting real estate agents and brokerages with a for sale real estate listing service or listing rental properties, featuring intelligent search and sorting of properties and a platform for communicating with potential buyers or renters.
Auction.com is well suited for an event, which has a silent and live auction. I can't imagine hosting an event without being able to swipe guests credit cards and being able to generate invoices. Entering winning bids at the event is easy and can be done on multiple computers - then merged onto one to run the necessary invoices, distribution sheets, and reports. Running a report on the items not bid on allows you to verify that you have entered all the bid sheets.
I used Zillow for the longest time and it worked okay. But then I started using Redfin and I like it much better. They are both very similar, but Redfin allows you to see the flood map across the whole property, which is important for me when considering spacial use of the property
It is very useable, I’ll give it that. Zillow has done a good job or making a clean and simple interface. They make it very easy to get in contact with an agent. Maybe a little too easy because they put you on a list and follow up multiple times
Support is where Auction.com shines. Their support team is incredible. On the day of the event, you can count on them to be on the other end of the phone when you call and to fix issues that you have. They are all very knowledgeable and understanding. They will walk you through any issues or actually make the changes remotely for you. I have nothing but praise for their support!
I like Redfin better because it shows a flood map of the property. But I think Zillow does a better job of managing saved searches and favorite properties. Redfin also sends me a bunch of emails whereas Zillow sends less emails. But overall, they are very similar so it might just come down to personal preferences
