PO management & inventory control is key. If you are in Operations & need a tool to house all of this data, Extensiv is straightforward and has the ability for customization.

• Earlier JDA versions did not supporting all the protocols for integration for example, sonic MQ. We had to spend lot of time writing adapters for that.

• Customizable fields ie: implementing a CRD (Cargo Ready Date) field would be great.
• Easier/more direct template uploading for PO's.

The decision was already made by the architects and by the time I joined [the company]. The JDA implementation was already in place. However, the cost of the product and the targeted retailers would have made a lot of sense when choosing JDA Commerce Suite.

Extensiv > Anvyl because of the inventory control aspect. Anvyl is solid for PO placement, but after that, it doesn't offer inventory levels and the control needed.

• Reduction in slow-moving inventory and out of stock messages which in turn helped clients to get more ROI.
• Efficient inventory management across all DCs and stores increased the accuracy of promising of inventory and forecasts.
