Overall Satisfaction with JDA Commerce Suite
We use the JDA product suite for our inventory and order management needs. Ours is a popular omni channel e-commerce platform which uses JDA inventory management and order management as the back end services. We have nearly 50+ clients using our platform backed by JDA products. I think JDA platform is highly scalable compared to other similar products we have in the market.
Pros
- Efficient order fulfillment that is based on demand and labor availability.
- Single view of inventory and order information.
- Ease of use.
Cons
- Earlier JDA versions did not supporting all the protocols for integration for example, sonic MQ. We had to spend lot of time writing adapters for that.
- Reduction in slow-moving inventory and out of stock messages which in turn helped clients to get more ROI.
- Efficient inventory management across all DCs and stores increased the accuracy of promising of inventory and forecasts.
The decision was already made by the architects and by the time I joined [the company]. The JDA implementation was already in place. However, the cost of the product and the targeted retailers would have made a lot of sense when choosing JDA Commerce Suite.
