Brown Paper Tickets vs. Ticketbud

For non-profits running free trainings, Brown Paper Ticket is great because there are no fees for using the service for this, whereas most other event registration software charges a per transaction fee. I wouldn't recommend it if you are hosting a conference or other event where there are breakout sessions that you need to register people for.

I believe this would work well for an event you were not needing to promote. Perhaps a Member's Only Event

• Hard copy tickets. They make it very easy to customize and order hard copy tickets for your events.
• Ease of event setup.
• Good customer service

I have used Bloomerang's event management option, which is not very easy to use or pliable when it comes to customization. Evite - not professional enough Regonline - not very user friendly and the fees are a bit high. Qgiv - Very easy to use and has great reporting. However, there is a fee to use it for free events.

I selected Ticket Bud over Eventbrite because I wanted to have a lower cost take out of each ticket.
