Butter vs. Proficonf (discontinued)

I have a very good experience with Butter. First of all, its User Interface is very nice and very functional. There are very few meeting tools that have such attractive UI. In the Room section, I mostly like the reactions and soundboard. Besides, it has all the necessary options like notes, a toolbox, and an agenda.

Whenever you need to speak with someone who is not an experienced internet-user, Proficonf is the best. I mean there's a big green button you need to press. Sometimes you need to put your name. That's it. Even the old folks can handle it well. Also, we find Proficonf surprisingly good working with a non-stable internet connection. I mean, of course, quality is decreasing (they say it's adaptive), but the video remains smooth. Even in those cases, Proficonf has probably the smoothest video among all video conferencing services.

• Butter works as a platform for virtual meeting or workshops.
• It provides the integration with most of the tools like Miro and Google Drive, pools, video, and so on.
• It works fine with low bandwidth internet.
• It also provide nice recap of meeting or workshop.

• They need to fix their iOS.
• Maybe more features would be good.
• Separate service for webinars.

All of the software, I have used previously, has a very boring user interface. Most of them are pretty basic in look and feel. Even they have a few integrations with the other third-party tools. But Butter has a very pretty look and feel with all the necessary tools and functions. I think it is fun to meet with Butter.

Proficonf proved to be a bit better than appear.in in terms of video quality and features. Zoom and Skype weren't any good for us. Proficonf is completely web-based, so it doesn't require a download like Skype or Zoom. Proficonf has much better video quality, there's no competition on that subject. And it's so much easier to use. However Skype is also a messenger, so we are still sometimes using it.
