Cakemail vs. PostUp

Sometimes creativity is lacking in me and that is where Cakemail comes in and saves the day. I am glad that I can receive creative help from this awesome brand. The pricing is very affordable, in my opinion. It makes this platform a no-brainer!

For what we are using the service for, it accomplishes everything that we need. We use it across a couple departments and it is very easy to keep track of everything scheduled so there is no confusion. We started using it at the beginning of the year and it's become very simple to navigate, which is great. That makes it much easier for me to train people how to use it.

• Their templates are easy to use and visually appealing
• Visibility into our contact information is great

• It is set up in a way that is very easy to learn how to use.
• The features cover everything I can even imagine for what I am using it for.
• Their help desk is very responsive.

• An external package – like PHP support – Cake's component doesn't have that.
• I'd like to be able to view my user click rate and click frequency at the same time, to be able to compare it – they don't offer that.
• There's always room for improvement – but what Cakemail does well, it does very, very well.

• There was a recent update they did that was sort of hard to get adjusted to, things weren't in the same spot as normal and it was sort of difficult learning where things were located now.
• It only shows you 7 mailings at a time by default, it would be nice to be able to change the default setting to whatever is preferred.
• In the "server" I wish there was a way to filter by department, not just by users.

I have used other email platforms before, but I think Cakemail is easier to use AND provides you with templates. For the other products I have tested out, you had to create your own templates from scratch. I like the ability to create from scratch, but on days where you lack the time or creativity, there are templates ready to go for you

• Easily track the success of your email campaigns

• It makes scheduling emails very easy.
• It was very easy to learn how to use/get adjusted to.
• We are able to keep track of scheduled mailings across all departments which is very convenient.
