Cengage WebAssign vs. EverFi

Cengage WebAssign is similar to other online textbook softwares I've used while teaching accounting online. It's a stable platform and seems easy for students to use, even if they are not extremely computer savvy.

I feel that this particular platform is well suited for the classroom setting. There are many instances, even in classes that don't revolve directly around financial literacy, where this program makes sense. They have also recently started to include life skills content that is applicable in a variety of subjects.

• The administration portal felt clunky with an outdated user interface.
• Assigning courses could be tedious, it was hard to know what notifications employees were receiving.

Overall, the platform is very easy to use, occasionally there will be a small glitch where something needs reloaded in order to work, but this is only happened a few times. The majority of the time everything runs very smoothly, and there are no issues to worry about.

Customer and client services vary depending on account representatives. Frequent changes in staff assigned as our client manager has not allowed for much personalized service.

I think all of these softwares are fairly similar in set up and ease of use. I am provided Cengage WebAssign with my pre-built SNHU courses.

We used Everfi with our previous HRIS provider and thought it would be simple to continue using them. We are actively looking for a more robust LMS that can cover compliance + learning/development and other trainings
