Read full review It has worked great for our emergency vehicles and mobile remote dispatch stations. We did have them at other bases as secondary internet access in the event of failure of our fiber, but I have found that is not as useful as we thought it may have been. I have temporarily disabled cellular on those devices and just did not have the need for it.

We are very happy because it has increased the positive aspects of our network and our technological security, since we can trust that our information will be completely safe with these routers.
Read full review I have been using some type of device like this for a very long time. We have and will maintain the need for this and have no immediate plan to make any change from Cradlepoint Routers. They have been very solid. These devices are a bit pricey, however worth the money as they always work and are reliable and save IT staff time.

Read full review Alternatives Considered I have not experienced performance from other networking platforms though Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Routers is very powerful and most effective in service delivery. The operational cost can be afforded by both small and large-scale businesses. Workflow automation enhances faster service delivery and creates room for the deployment of new services. I commend this platform to any organization that is struggling to realize development dream in networking programs.

I am however familiar with Cradlepoint as designing components for Emergency Responders to keep them connected and online while dispatched. That was a deciding factor for us. We wanted something heavy duty and reliable.

Read full review Return on Investment The high cost may be a barrier for some, but knowing that Cisco is the creator of these routers increases confidence and dispels doubts. The speed on our devices is much faster than when we didn't have these routers. The risk of losing information is minimal, as is the energy consumption, which is also minimal.
