Cisco Security Services vs. Deloitte Cyber Risk vs. Windstream Managed Network Security

We have deployed Cisco ASA with Fire Power with Fire Sight. A sight-to-sight VPN with IP-SecCisco AnyConnect VPN Client, SourceFire, Proxy Server, Cisco Umbrella. I use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobile Client that lets me access my secure work files both in the office and remotely from my home office.

However, it may be less appropriate when a company has just transitioned to another stage in their product and need to focus on growth. And also know the cybersecurity risks.

Windstream is a widely available option for VPLS and other connectivity requirements. However, I believe they need to work on providing better notification and support of outages, service, etc. These services are also incredibly expensive, Windstream portrays a worthwhile service to accommodate your check every month, but it falls short. Windstream is available everywhere, but tread carefully when selecting a company that offers similar services.

The equipment is robust and reliable. It has great flexibility in configurations and is fully scalable in terms of power and functionalities in relation to the needs of each company. It has the ability to integrate with other critical security technologies to provide comprehensive solutions that meet security needs. It has numerous license models, this limits the number of pairs regardless of type; clientless vs client SSL VPN, IPsec, l2tp-IPsec.

I liked Deloitte's way of working better, I like its interface, the response time of its technicians, they are punctual, good prices, and responsible. It meets all the expectations we had about its products. It is best suited when we have a complex business requirement to implement within a short period of time. Provided we have a good budget. Keeping aside the budget, Deloitte does pretty well compared to other consulting firms.

Windstream was the only option for what we needed. It was available in Wisconsin, Iowa, New York, and Utah for all of our plants needs. It was also a service that has been used for years so we have not searched elsewhere for an alternative option. Many people have heard of Windstream, which gives it crediblity with IT professionals
