Cursor
Chose Cursor
We use both Claude Code and Cursor. However, we find Cursor to be quite fast compared to Claude Code. Claude Code seems to be able to reach higher levels of intelligence, though that's not really necessary much of the time. The speed of Cursor can really stand out in comparison.
Chose Cursor
Cursor is superior because its integration is easy; it provides the same benefits as the others, but it does so by managing LLMs in a more intuitive way. The fact that it is now proprietary to SpaceXAI might make the use of Grok more efficient and maybe cheaper for users …

Whenever I have a bug or something to solve from Jira, I give Claude an explanation and the Jira ticket and it ultimately solves the problem and can commit my code to github. It's a powerful tool and asks me clarifying questions when they are needed to best suit the needs of my requirements

Less appropriate for people who don't use LLMs to code but instead to create artifacts. Cursor is a fluid development platform, not something that will create an artifact to run in the cloud. Well designed to work on teams, to manage the code and how the LLMs interact with the code itself. Great for deep vibe coding.

Cursor is the best AI-powered IDE available today. The agents intelligently absorb context from the code, memory, and rules, and are capable of iterating with subagents until acceptance criteria is met.

Cursor is useful for all our developer team. Each and every team member use Cursor for coding and also Cursor has various models like composer, codex, claude and openai models which helps a lot for quality codings. Also Cursor help to create documents in md file format with markdown and preview which helps a lot.

It out shines them, Anthropic Claude is a close second since it does a very similar job. I mostly use that in Visual Studio Code. Github Copilot uses Claude but I feel like the terminal and/or Anthropic Claude is superior to this. I am a GUI guy but the terminal has features that can't be replicated anywhere else.

graphical user interface is really the thing that setting apart because other code harnesses are really focused on commandline interfaces but whenever you want a good graphical interface with all of the tools and workflow that us software developers we want I think that Cursor is the one that has done it the best out of all of the code harnesses that we’ve tried
