After five years of paying for annual service. I attempted to cancel my annual payment on the online portal. I was then billed for the annual renewal. I contacted customer support and traded emails only to get "note that according to our Terms and Conditions, purchases are considered final and non-refundable" and your subscription will be active for the next 364 days. To which I responded, "I forgot just how easily the wrong response can destroy the possibility of future renewal, recommendation, customer retention, customer satisfaction and reviews." UPDATE: After submitting negative reviews, I recieved an email from elevated customer support teammate named "Renata" who asked pertintent questions about my cancelation. She reviewed and made an exception based on our circumstances and adjusted my annual plan to a monthly plan and processed a refund.

• SaaS, so accessible by anyone, anywhere in the world via a browser
• Clear and straight forward navigation
• Good choice of management reports

• Like any SaaS product, Clearbooks is continuously evolving and being improved
• Some of the reports still need some work

Easy initial setup

Never had issues and support is super fast. They even call you if you get stuck on something

Clearbooks was chosen 5 years ago as our accountant recommended it. There is an element of inertia in moving accounts packages.

• I am not sure that ROI is an appropriate measure for an accounts package. The cost is around £250/year, which is a tiny fraction of the cost of a bookkeeper/finance controller/finance director/CFO.
