CloverDX vs. Hevo Data

CloverDX designer as a standalone is well suited for fairly straightforward transformations of data. If you want to do large scale data integrations, then their server edition adds an extra level of automation and job control.

It is of great help for unstructured data sources. The way Hevo Data flattens the high nested data is amazing. Schema management is also good by Hevo Data. The way it's tell about the data type and then we can identify any error in the model. Additionally, It is very easy to setup for any new user and once model is created then we do not have to worry about the script maintenance and updating the script daily.

• Hevo is the best tool when you want to manage a large number of pipelines. With Hevo you can automate the pipelines very easily.
• Hevo's great features are automatic detection and notification of failed data pipelines.
• Auto mapping feature is also good. It's makes really easy to move the data.
• Integration is easy with so many databases like SQL, Google Sheet, etc.

• The initial learning curve is a little steep. Not very steep or super steep, just a little steep.
• Having enough memory for large multi-step problems can be an issue if the graph isn't designed well.

While CloverDX has an active forum for users to submit questions and assist with answers, their in house support team is incredibly responsive when I've contacted them for assistance. This seems almost at odds with most other software companies who try to save money on tech support by promoting a forum or knowledge base.

CloverDX was a less expensive alternative to Talend and had a more intuitive interface from what I could see during the evaluation.

Much lower cost and faster syncs but not as good support. More flexible in terms of pricing, though. Fivetran requires annual contracts and is very inflexible.

• Work that use to take multiple people 20 to 30 hours a week to complete each has now been fully automated to where only 1 or 2 hours a week for maintenance is required.

• Authentic data models brings a high automation process and more productivity.
• Expansive data sourcing brings clarity and genuine results after inferential analytics.
